Job summary

UNC Rex Holly Springs Hospital in North Carolina seeks a dedicated Labor & Delivery Clinical Nurse II to join the team. This full-time, night-shift role offers compassionate, family-centered obstetric care in a community hospital setting.

The unit provides 7 labor rooms, OBED, ORs, and PACU, with 24/7 OB coverage and close collaboration with CNMs and OB/GYNs. Eligible staff may access incentive options and tuition forgiveness, supporting professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited Nursing Program.
• NC RN Licensure, ACLS, BCLS, NRP.
• One year experience working as a licensed RN.

Responsibilities

• Maintains patient safety and supports safety initiatives.
• Identifies learning needs and provides education to patient/family.
• Coordinates plan of care with interdisciplinary team.
• Care for patients with complex problems and assist with discharge planning.
• Collaborates to promote professional growth and unit goals.
• Prioritizes tasks and uses effective communication for planning.
• Engages in continuous learning and evidence-based practice.
• Remains compliant with regulatory guidelines and hospital policies.
