Job summary

HCA Florida Trinity Hospital is seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for the Women’s Services Unit. You will provide clinical expertise to ensure high-quality, efficient care in a high-acuity environment and collaborate with a supportive team.

The role requires Florida RN licensure (or compact) with licensure active within 60 days of hire, a Nursing Diploma or ASN (BSN preferred), and certifications including BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and NRP within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Current Florida Registered Nurse license or compact license; FL license required within 60 days if compact.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• NRP certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for laboring patients.
• Assist in delivery, including Cesarean sections.
• Instruct patients and families on medications and treatment.
• Maintain and review patient records, post tests and examination results.
• Administer medications per physician orders.
