Job summary

Baptist Medical Center East is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Labor & Delivery unit on the Day shift. You will supervise nursing staff, perform assessments, and coordinate care with physicians to ensure safe, quality patient outcomes.

Requirements include a Nursing degree, active RN license, and BLS certification; ACLS/PALS may be needed depending on unit. This is a full-time, on-site role with weekend/holiday coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN licensure and BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS may be required depending on area.
• Ability to assess patient needs, plan care, and collaborate with physicians.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff on shift, weekends and holidays.
• Perform nursing assessments, plan and deliver patient care.
