Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for the Day Shift at Baptist Medical Center East. The role involves supervising nursing staff on shift and during weekends/holidays to ensure high-quality patient care, using the nursing process for assessments, planning, and interventions.

The RN will collaborate with physicians and other clinicians to plan and deliver patient care. Degree in Nursing is required; BSN preferred, and active RN licensure with BLS is required;

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing is required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN licensure required; BLS certification.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, etc. may be required depending on area assigned

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate nursing staff on shift, including weekends/holidays, to ensure quality and continuity of patient care.
• Utilize the nursing process in patient assessments, care planning and interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians to plan and implement patient care.
• May have additional duties within the scope of the role.
