Job summary

Baptist Medical Center East in Alabama is seeking a Night shift Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery to lead nursing staff on shift, including weekends and holidays, and to ensure high-quality patient care. Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Active RN licensure required.
• BLS required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, etc. may be required depending on area.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff on shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Utilize the nursing process for patient assessments, care planning, and interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in planning and delivering patient care.
• Perform duties within scope and adapt to unit needs as assigned.
