Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BSN or higher preferred.
• Current California State RN License required.
• ACLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• NRP Certification.
• For RN III: Specialty Certification (eligible within one year of hire).
• Minimum 3 years recent acute RN experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Note: minimum 1 year acute RN experience in Labor and Delivery for RN II.

Responsibilities

• Responsible and accountable for the nursing process and delivery of patient care.
• Make clinical judgments and carry out nursing interventions without supervision.
• Apply clinical knowledge to standard care for time and cost savings.
• Demonstrate knowledge of regulatory requirements in patient assignment, delegation, and documentation.
