Job summary

Talented-Medical-Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery in California. The role involves caring for women from childbearing through postpartum/infant care up to 28 days, coordinating with the care team, and supervising others as needed.

The ideal candidate has a CA RN license, current BLS certification, and at least one year in labor and delivery with nursery/postpartum experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• At least one year of labor and delivery experience; nursery/postpartum experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs an appropriate and complete assessment for each patient, using age- and developmentally appropriate techniques.
• Develops an individual plan of care and documents assessments, interventions, and patient response.
• Administers narcotics and medications and IV fluids per policy.
• Communicates effectively with the patient care team, patients, families, and physicians.
• Provides patient and family education.
• Provides leadership by directing and/or delegating tasks to other health care team members.
