Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Utilization of Nursing Process; assessment, planning, implementation, coordination, teaching and quality improvement.
• Assessment: compile database, formulate nursing diagnosis, determine priorities, reassess as condition changes.
• Planning: write and update nursing plan of care, coordinate with health team.
• Implementation: perform nursing skills, administer medications and treatments, document status and plan.
• Patient Care Coordination: manage daily assignments and coordinate activities with disciplines.
• Teaching and Quality Improvement: participate in patient education, discharge planning and program monitoring.
• NRP: engage in residency program requirements and successful completion.
