Job summary

Jobot is hiring a Permanent Labor & Delivery RN for daytime shifts in Porterville, California. The role offers comprehensive benefits and excellent PTO, with no weekend work.

You will join a fast-paced, patient-centered team focused on high-quality care during childbirth and postpartum periods. The RN will provide direct maternity care, collaborate with physicians, and educate families while maintaining EMR documentation and evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of employment.
• BLS certification.
• 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and decision-making in emergencies.
• Physical stamina for patient care tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care per policies and protocols.
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient condition.
• Assess and plan nursing care for laboring mothers.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team.
• Assist during examinations and procedures as needed.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum and infant care.
• Handle patient treatment-related calls and referrals.
• Educate on health topics and childbirth, developing health programs.
