Job summary

Baptist Health in Montgomery, Alabama is seeking a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a regular full-time day shift. The RN will have 3 years of experience and will work in the Baptist Medical Center East setting.

The role supervises nursing staff on shift, performs patient assessments, plans and delivers care, and collaborates with physicians and clinicians to ensure quality and continuity of care; additional duties may be assigned. A BSN is preferred and active RN licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree is required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN licensure and BLS required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC may be required depending on area.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff on shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Apply nursing process to patient assessment, planning and interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinicians in patient care planning.
• May have additional duties within the scope of the role as assigned.
