Baptist Health - Central Alabama is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN (PRN, Day shift) to supervise nursing staff on shift and coordinate patient care in a fast-paced obstetric unit. The RN will perform assessments, plan care, and implement interventions in collaboration with physicians and care teams.

Active RN license and BLS required; BSN preferred. Expect occasional weekend/holiday coverage and possibilities for unit-specific certifications.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Active RN licensure required; BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required depending upon area assigned.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff on shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Utilize the nursing process for patient assessments, planning, and interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in planning and implementing patient care.
