Job summary

Baptist Health in Alabama is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery Night shift to supervise nursing staff on shift and ensure quality patient care. The RN will use the nursing process for assessments, planning and interventions, and collaborate with physicians and other clinicians.

Education requirements include a nursing degree with RN licensure and BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required depending on the unit. This is a regular full-time Night shift position with weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN licensure required; BLS required.
• Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, etc) may be required depending upon area assigned

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing personnel on shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Utilize the nursing process in patient assessments, planning of care and care interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians to plan and implement patient care.
