Job summary

University Hospitals seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery at UH Ahuja Medical Center in Beachwood, OH. The role supports labor, delivery, NICU, newborn, OR, and postpartum care with a patient‑centered approach.

Minimum 1 year inpatient RN experience is required; Ohio or Multi-State Compact license upon hire; BLS is required; ACLS/PALS per unit may apply. Night shifts available in a full‑time schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year inpatient RN experience.
• Licensure: Ohio RN or Multi-State Compact (upon hire).
• BSN preferred; ADN required; MN may be preferred per unit standards.

Responsibilities

• Implements the nursing process delivering relationship-based care.
• Demonstrates technical skills for safe practice and positive outcomes.
• Communicates clearly and collaborates to optimize patient care.
• Develops professionally and contributes to nursing practice.
• Exhibits leadership impacting clinical and operational outcomes.
• RNs may be cross-trained across Labor & Delivery, Level II NICU, Newborn Nursery, OR, and Postpartum.
