Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in Maternal Child Nursing or Medical/Surgical nursing preferred but not required.
• Ability to organize tasks and handle busy times.
• Good communication skills with patients and families.
• Focus on helping patients and providing good service.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients in the Women and Family Center (labor, post-delivery, newborns).
• Check and note physical and emotional states of patients.
• Create and update care plans with patient and family.
• Carry out and review care plans as needed.
• Work with doctors and staff to provide complete patient care.
• Follow doctors' orders using computer systems.
• Record patient care and responses in electronic health records.
• Prepare and administer medications safely.
• Use strong critical thinking and teamwork to deliver quality care.
