Job summary

Qualifications

• RN licensed nurse responsible for monitoring patients in labor and post-partum stages.
• Ability to monitor maternal vital signs continuously and document changes.
• Knowledge of phlebotomy, basic IV, and central lines is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor baby’s heart rate and respond to fetal distress.
• Assess and record maternal vital signs during labor and postpartum.
• Administer pain medications and other ordered medicines.
• Educate and support new mothers and families on infant care.
