Job summary

AP Health in Nashville, TN is seeking a highly experienced Physician Assistant or Surgical Assistant to join our team in the greater Nashville area for a surgical-only role in labor and delivery.

The ideal candidate has at least 2+ years of first assist experience in labor and delivery, current license or NCCPA certification, and is board-certified. This position offers night shifts, a competitive benefits package, and participation in an ESOP.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of first assist experience in labor and delivery.
• Current State License or current national surgical assistant certification.
• Board certified by NCCPA.
• Active BLS and ACLS.
• Comprehensive and flexible medical, dental, and vision insurance.

• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations.
• Rotating on-call responsibilities.

We partner with facilities to offer service line coverage with highly trained and knowledgeable Advanced Practice Providers to first assist in surgery.

AP Health is seeking a highly experienced Physician Assistant or Surgical Assistant to join our team in the greater Nashville area. A successful candidate would have at least 2+ years of first assist experience in labor and delivery. This job is strictly a surgical only position with no clinic time.
