UCI Health in California is seeking a Labor and Delivery Nurse to provide care for laboring patients, newborns, and postpartum care within a high-acuity perinatal unit. You will collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, monitor fetal status, respond to obstetric emergencies, and maintain exceptional nursing skills and compassionate patient service.

This role requires a BSN, California RN license, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and at least one year of L&D experience, along with excellent

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required.
• Current California RN license.
• Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year recent Labor & Delivery experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and maintain high standards.

Responsabilités

• Care for labor patients before, during, and after delivery.
• Care for the newborn immediately after delivery.
• Care for outpatient Labor & Delivery patients.
• Circulate and recover cesarean sections.
• Identify complications via fetal monitoring and communicate with physicians.
• Maintain quality, service, and critical nursing skills.
