Job summary

Qualifications

• BSN required and active IL RN license.
• ACLS, PALS/ENPC & TNCC within one year of hire where applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to collaborate with physicians, patients and teams.
• Excellent interpersonal and analytic skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect data, analyze outcomes, develop an individualized plan, coordinate care and evaluate progress toward outcomes.
• Direct care and determine appropriate use of any assistants involved in direct patient care.
• Collaborate with patient, family, physicians and staff to document and communicate the plan of care.
• Participate in shared governance, committee work and unit projects.
• Evaluate and document patient responses to nursing interventions in the health record and adjust the plan of care accordingly.
• Use evidence to guide practice decisions and improve patient care.
