Northwestern Medicine Catherine Gratz Griffin Lake Forest Hospital is seeking an inpatient Staff Nurse to deliver comprehensive nursing care to acutely ill patients. You will plan, implement, and evaluate care under the nursing process, ensuring collaboration with the health team and families.

The role requires a BSN, active Illinois RN license, and BLS; advanced credentials (ACLS/PALS/ENPC/TNCC) within one year are preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN required and IL RN licensure.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience collaborating with diverse health teams.
• ACLS/PALS/ENPC/TNCC within 1 year of hire preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and coordinate nursing care for acutely ill patients.
• Document plans and outcomes in the health record.
• Collaborate with physicians, families and staff to ensure safe care.
• Participate in shared governance, committees and unit projects.
• Evaluate patient responses and adjust care plans accordingly.
