HCA Florida Trinity Hospital is seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for the Women’s Services Unit. You will provide clinical expertise to ensure high-quality, efficient care in a high acuity environment and join a team that supports each other and patient-centered care.

The role involves assisting in deliveries (including C-sections), educating patients and families, maintaining records, and ensuring medication administration per physician orders. Florida RN licensure is required.

Formación

• Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse per state rules.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS within 6 months.
• NRP certification required within 6 months; read/write basic records.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care for laboring mothers.
• Assist in delivery, including cesarean sections.
• Instruct patients and families on medications and treatment.
• Maintain and review patient records, posting tests and results.
• Administer medications per physician orders.
