Capital Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our hospital team in New Jersey. The role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care through the nursing process, ensuring safety, and supporting pain management and discharge planning.

Ideal candidates will hold an Associate's degree in nursing, be eligible for NJ or NLC multi-state licensure, and possess required certifications such as BLS, TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale, and ACLS.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree or graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Experience: Previous nursing experience preferred.
• Credentials: AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider, RN NJ or RN - NLC multi-state.
• TNCC and 8 hours of Trauma-related CNE annually if assigned to specific units.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification (or within orientation) and 8 hours of Stroke-related CNE annually if assigned to specific units.
• ACLS (or obtain within 6 months) if assigned to certain units.

Responsibilities

• Delivers quality care to patients through the nursing process.
• Assures patient safety by executing policies and procedures.
• Provides support for pain management and patient/family education.
• Plans and documents discharge to maximize meaningful life activities.
• Participates in performance improvement and Joint Commission readiness.
