Job summary

Gafcon PM-CM LLC in California seeks a Labor Relations Project Manager to lead Labor Compliance Program (LCP) and Project Labor Agreement (PLA) initiatives from pre-job activities through completion. Qualifications

Four-year degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2 years’ experience as Lead or Analyst in Labor Compliance.
Extensive understanding of Labor Compliance and PLA policies.
Knowledge of California Labor Code for Public Works.
Experience auditing certified payroll documents.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Review certified payroll reports for compliance with wage and apprenticeship requirements.
Participate in pre-bid and start meetings to explain LCP/PLA requirements.
Identify potential public works labor compliance violations through audits.
Manage LCP Program Manual and Project PLA documents.
Draft project cost proposals and submit required reports.
Coordinate letters of assent and PLA-related communications with contractors.
Liaise with clients, DLSE, and funding sources on monitoring matters.
