Mercy Hospital St. Louis is seeking an experienced Labor & Birth RN for full-time night shift. This role focuses on high-acuity obstetric care, fetal monitoring, and patient-centered family support.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN)
• Current RN License or eligibility for licensure in Missouri
• BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (or obtained within 30 days of hire)
• Previous RN experience in an acute care or applicable clinical setting

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient-centered care throughout labor, delivery, and recovery
• Assess, monitor, and respond to changing maternal and fetal conditions
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care
• Educate and support patients and families
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary care teams
• Utilize fetal monitoring, laboratory, and diagnostic data to guide care decisions
• Participate in bedside handoffs and patient safety initiatives
• Contribute to quality improvement efforts and evidence-based practice
• Maintain professional growth through certifications, continuing education, and specialty development
