Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis is seeking a New Graduate RN for Labor & Birth on a full-time night schedule. The renowned 16-week Nurse Residency supports new grads with immersive learning, mentorship, and hands-on clinical experience to transition from student to professional RN.

As part of the largest birthing center in the St. Louis region, you will develop advanced skills in fetal monitoring, patient advocacy, and collaborative care with obstetricians, midwives, anesthesiologists, NICU

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN License or eligibility for licensure in Missouri.
• BLS Certification through American Heart Association (or obtained within 30 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based patient care
• Develop and manage individualized patient care plans
• Assess, monitor, and respond to changing patient conditions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
• Educate patients and families throughout their care journey
• Utilize diagnostic, laboratory, and fetal monitoring data
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
