Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm in Philadelphia, PA is seeking an experienced Labor and Employment Litigation Associate Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of experience in employment litigation, including state and federal court cases, administrative practice before various agencies, and advising clients on labor-related matters. A background in traditional labor issues, such as arbitrations and negotiations, is advantageous. Duties:

  1. Represent clients in labor and employment litigation matters across various jurisdictions (state and federal courts).
  2. Advise clients on employment law issues, including workplace discrimination, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, and more.
  3. Manage administrative proceedings before local, state, and federal agencies.
  4. Engage in labor-related matters such as labor arbitrations, negotiations, and unfair labor practice charges.
  5. Provide counsel on transactional matters involving labor and employment issues.
  6. Draft legal documents, including briefs, motions, and memoranda, with a focus on clarity and detail.
  7. Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop effective legal strategies.

Requirements:

  1. 3-5 years of experience in labor and employment litigation, including state and federal court experience.
  2. Proven ability to handle complex litigation and administrative proceedings.
  3. Experience in traditional labor matters, including arbitrations and negotiations, is a plus.
  4. Strong writing skills and attention to detail.
  5. Ability to effectively manage a busy caseload and meet deadlines.
  6. Active Bar membership in Pennsylvania or New Jersey.

Education:
J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
An active Bar license in Pennsylvania or New Jersey is preferred.
