Qualifications

• 3–10 years of experience in Employment Litigation.
• Defending discrimination claims under Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, IHRA, IWA.
• Defending wage and hour and class actions under FLSA, IMWL, IWPCA, BIPA.
• Defending and/or prosecuting trade secret violations, confidentiality, and non-compete/non-solicitation.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in employment litigation through trials, hearings, arbitrations, and related proceedings.
• Provide strategic guidance on confidentiality, non-compete, and non-solicitation matters.

• Practice Area Focus: Employment Litigation
• Compensation: $187,000 - $250,000+ depending on years of experience
• Billable hours: 1850 a year

Qualifications:

3-10 years of experience in Employment Litigation including:

• Defending against discrimination claims under Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, IHRA, IWA, and similar common law claims.
• Defending against wage and hour and other class action claims under the FLSA, IMWL, IWPCA, and BIPA.
• Defending and/or prosecuting trade secret violations and breaches of confidentiality, non-compete, and non-solicitation agreements.
• Trial experience (first or second chair) and/or experience presenting witnesses at trials, hearings, arbitrations, or similar proceedings in employment law matters.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Admission to the Trial Bar of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
• Appellate experience in employment law cases, including briefing and/or oral argument.
• Portal book of business is welcomed but not necessary
