Provide legal counsel to public sector and private clients regarding employment and traditional labor matters.
Handle a heavy volume of transactional labor and employment work.
Conduct high-level legal research, writing, and analysis.
Assist in employment litigation matters.
Experience: 3–8 years of experience in labor and employment transactional law.
Bar Admission: Active membership in the California Bar.
Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.
Background: Experience dealing with public law work (e.g., from boutique firms, Am Law, or City Attorney’s offices).
Skills: Exceptional writing, research, and analytical capabilities.
Flexibility: High flexibility with Remote or Hybrid options (90-95% of teams work remotely).
Compensation: $140k–$220k base salary (commensurate with experience) + Annual performance-based bonuses + Billable hour bonuses.
Reasonable Hours: Billable hour requirement is 1,850.
Growth: No book of business required for Tier 1 partnership; promotions are based on experience and drive, not just rainmaking.
