Advantis Medical Staffing in Salem, VA is recruiting for a Labor and Delivery Travel RN for a 13-week contract at Lewisgale Medical Center. The position pays $1,991 per week, follows a Days shift with a 3x12 schedule, and includes travel credentialing support.

You will assess maternal and fetal well-being, interpret fetal heart-rate patterns, guide patients through labor, birth, and recovery, and respond to obstetric emergencies as they arise.

Formación

• 2+ years of recent Labor and Delivery nursing experience.
• Active Virginia RN License.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and interpret maternal and fetal status and EFM; escalate as needed.
• Support patients through labor, delivery and immediate postpartum recovery.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy, including oxytocin titration as ordered.
• Provide newborn care and assist neonatal resuscitation per NRP guidelines.

This Labor and Delivery travel nurse position in Salem, Virginia, with Advantis Medical is a 13-week Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) contract at Lewisgale Medical Center. This role pays $1,991 per week and follows a Days shift with a 3x12 schedule.

As the Labor and Delivery registered nurse on this assignment, you'll assess maternal and fetal well-being, interpret fetal heart-rate patterns, guide patients through every stage of labor, birth, and recovery, and respond to obstetric emergencies as they arise.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret maternal and fetal status, including electronic fetal monitoring, escalating concerns promptly
• Support patients through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy, including oxytocin titration as ordered and per facility protocol
• Provide immediate newborn care and support neonatal resuscitation per NRP guidelines

Travel Nursing Requirements:

• 2+ years of recent Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Active Virginia RN License
