Job summary

Advantis Medical Staffing seeks a Labor and Delivery Travel RN for a 13-week assignment at StoneSprings Hospital Center in Dulles, VA. You will assess maternal and fetal well-being, monitor fetal heart rate, and guide patients through labor, birth and recovery on a Nights 3x12 schedule earning about $2,007 per week.

The role requires 2+ years in L&D, active Virginia RN license, and the ability to respond to obstetric emergencies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience.
• Active Virginia RN License.
• Experience with fetal monitoring and obstetric care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret maternal and fetal status, including electronic fetal monitoring, escalating concerns promptly
• Support patients through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy, including oxytocin titration as ordered and per facility protocol
• Provide immediate newborn care and support neonatal resuscitation per NRP guidelines

Job description

This Labor and Delivery travel nurse position in Dulles, Virginia, with Advantis Medical is a 13-week Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) contract at StoneSprings Hospital Center. This role pays $2,007 per week and follows a Nights shift with a 3x12 schedule.

As the Labor and Delivery registered nurse on this assignment, you'll assess maternal and fetal well-being, interpret fetal heart-rate patterns, guide patients through every stage of labor, birth, and recovery, and respond to obstetric emergencies as they arise.
