The Center for Women and Newborns at Mass General Brigham in Boston is seeking a dedicated Certified Surgical Technologist to support our perioperative teams. This 36-hour rotating position offers a competitive compensation package and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• CST Certification is required; NBSTSA credential preferred.
• 2+ years Surgical Tech experience is preferred.
• Labor & Delivery experience strongly preferred.
• Must maintain sterile technique and have knowledge of surgical instrumentation.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields, instruments, and equipment.
• Anticipate the needs of surgeons and procedural teams throughout surgical and obstetrical procedures.
• Ensure surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment are readily available and functioning properly.
• Maintain strict sterile technique and adhere to infection prevention standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.
• Support efficient operating room and procedural workflows to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
