Job summary

Saint Peter’s Health Care System in New Brunswick, NJ, is seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery RN for night shifts to join our Magnet-designated team.

You will perform assessments, administer medications, document care, and collaborate with a high-performing nursing staff.

Required: NJ RN license with BSN preferred or within 3 years; BLS, NRP Part I, Part II, ACLS, National Fetal Monitor, and Special OB course during orientation. Salary details and benefits are competitive.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey (NJ RN license).
• BSN preferred or must be obtained within three years of hire date.
• BLS certification required (AHA approved).
• NRP Part I certification required.
• NRP Part II obtained during orientation.
• ACLS certification obtained during orientation.
• National Fetal Monitor certification obtained during orientation.
• Special OB course completed during orientation.

The Labor and Delivery RN Nights will:

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards
• Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy
• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care

Requirements:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey
• BSN preferred or must be obtained within three (3) years of hire date
• BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Provider) certification Part I required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Provider) certification Part II obtained during clinical orientation
• ACLS certification obtained during clinical orientation
• National Fetal Monitor certification obtained during clinical orientation
• Special OB course completed during clinical orientation

Salary Range:47.00 - 62.00 USD

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
