Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN to join a dedicated obstetric care team.

You will provide direct patient care during labor and birth, monitor fetal status, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure safe, compassionate care.

Candidates should have an RN license, ACLS/BLS, and obstetric experience; the hospital offers comprehensive benefits and a 600+ bed facility.

Qualificações

• Active Georgia RN license or eligible
• ACLS and BLS certifications current
• Fetal monitoring competency within required timeframe
• Experience in labor and delivery environment preferred
• RN license with nursing degree as required by state

• Provide direct patient care to laboring patients
• Monitor fetal status and maternal vitals continuously
• Administer medications and assist with deliveries as needed

Job Summary and Qualifications:

The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) works in collaboration with other members of the health care team to protect, promote and optimize health and ability, prevent illness and injury, alleviate suffering through the diagnosis and treatment of human response, and advocate in the care of individuals and families. The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) incorporates creative factors from Watson’s theory into his/her practice. Practices in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, Georgia Nurse Practice Act, Professional Standards, Code of Ethics for Nursing, and the institution’s nursing philosophy, Professional Practice Model. Complies with the Memorial Health Compliance Program, related policies and procedures and the Code of Business Practices; reports instances of perceived and actual non-compliance to Team Leader or through other reporting mechanisms

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring must be obtained within 4 months of employment start date
• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma, or Bachelors Degree
