Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13-week onsite contract in Kodiak, AK. Shift is 3x12 hours, with 60 hours per two weeks guaranteed, starting 11/02/2026. Housing may be provided; locals required to be 50 miles away.

Candidates will work in a Level IV facility with magnet/teaching capabilities. Requirements include ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate certifications, plus 1 year of L&D experience; Epic charting is preferred; weekend shifts required; travel not

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, NRP and AWHONN Intermediate certifications are required.
• 1 year of experience in labor and delivery.
• Epic charting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with labor and delivery procedures and high-risk scenarios.
• Provide newborn care including APGAR assessment and neonatal support.
• Administer medications and manage IVs, infusions, and analgesia.
• Support postpartum care and education for families.

HOUSING INFORMATION
Facility provides housing to travelers during assignment.
Housing units are typically 1-bedroom apartments.
Housing will be available for move-in not earlier than 72 hours before contract begins and not longer than 24 hours after contract ends.
PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED
Housing units are typically large enough to accommodate only the traveler. Bringing additional family members is not common and needs to be approved by the facility.
Housing unit will need to be cleaned upon departure or it will be subject to additional cleaning fees billed to traveler.
