Job summary

WEG Electric Corp. in Duluth, GA is seeking a Labeling Specialist to manage labeling and documentation for production operations.

You will ensure accurate labeling of products, materials, cartons, pallets, and shipments in line with company and customer requirements, supporting inventory accuracy and traceability. The role requires 1+ year of related experience, High School diploma, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; SAP knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with SAP is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and print labels, tags, and shipping labels based on BOMs and schematics.
  • Operate and maintain labeling software and printers/plotters.
  • Update documentation with engineering changes and as-built records.
  • Process production orders and file completed documentation.
  • Maintain 5S, organize labeling station and supplies.
  • Assist in receiving materials and locating orders on the production floor.
  • Coordinate with packing to finalize documentation for orders.

About The Role

WEG Electric Corp. has a great opportunity for a Labeling Specialist to join our team in the Duluth Georgia location. This role is responsible for documentation and labelling related to production operations. You will ensure products, materials, cartons, pallets, and shipments are labeled accurately and in compliance with company and customer requirements. The role helps maintain inventory accuracy, traceability, and efficient order fulfillment.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Detects all needed identification, including labels, tags, terminal block markers, shipping labels based on BOMs, schematics,
  • prints and sales orders.
  • Produces identification using proprietary and commercial software.
  • Operates and maintains proprietary and commercial software.
  • Operates and maintains proprietary and commercial printers, plotters and engravers.
  • Prints updated information from Engineering changes and provides supervision with the updated documentation.
  • Prints necessary as-build documentation.
  • Files completed production orders.
  • Responsible for organization and cleanliness (5S) of the Labeling station.
  • Responsible for inventory and order placement of labeling supplies.
  • Assists in receiving of materials in the material receiving area if necessary.
  • Locates orders on the production floor and updating documents/labeling as needed
  • Communicates with Packing Specialists when documentation of orders is complete.
  • Prints additional labeling for production associates when needed.
Education
  • High School or GED
Knowledge / Training
  • Microsoft Office suite (basic Word, intermediate Excel, basic PowerPoint, basic Outlook) - SAP preferred.
  • Identification Computer Numeric Control operating software.
  • Printer and plotter setup/operation.
  • Knowledge of company quality standards and procedures, including safety.
