Job summary

WEG Electric Corp. in Duluth, GA is seeking a Labeling Specialist to join our production team. The role focuses on documentation and labeling to ensure accuracy and compliance for products, materials, cartons, pallets, and shipments.

You will operate labeling printers and related software, update documents per engineering changes, maintain a 5S layout at the labeling station, and help manage labeling supplies. A High School diploma and 1+ year of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related labeling/production experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Labeling and documentation for production; ensure correct labels on products, materials, cartons, pallets and shipments.
• Operate and maintain labeling equipment, printers, plotters, and related software.
• Print updates from engineering changes and distribute updated documentation to stakeholders.
• Maintain a clean, organized 5S labeling station and manage labeling supplies inventory.
• Assist with receiving materials and locating orders on the production floor as needed.
• Communicate with Packing when documentation of orders is complete.

WEG Electric Corp. has a great opportunity for a Labeling Specialist to join our team in the Duluth Georgia location. This role is r esponsible for documentation and labelling related to production operations. You will ensure products, materials, cartons, pallets, and shipments are labeled accurately and in compliance with company and customer requirements. The role helps maintain inventory accuracy, traceability, and efficient order fulfillment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Detects all needed identification, including labels, tags, terminal block markers, shipping labels based on BOMs, schematics,
• prints and sales orders.
• Produces identification using proprietary and commercial software.
• Operates and maintains proprietary and commercial software.
• Operates and maintains proprietary and commercial printers, plotters and engravers.
• Prints updated information from Engineering changes and provides supervision with the updated documentation.
• Prints necessary as-build documentation.
• Files completed production orders.
• Responsible for organization and cleanliness (5S) of the Labeling station.
• Responsible for inventory and order placement of labeling supplies.
• Assists in receiving of materials in the material receiving area if necessary.
• Locates orders on the production floor and updating documents/labeling as needed
• Communicates with Packing Specialists when documentation of orders is complete.
• Prints additional labeling for production associates when needed.

Education

Knowledge / training

• Microsoft Office suite (basic Word, intermediate Excel, basic PowerPoint, basic Outlook) - SAP preferred.
• Identification Computer Numeric Control operating software.
• Printer and plotter setup/operation.
• Knowledge of company quality standards and procedures, including safety.
