Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, Technical Documentation, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in packaging artwork, label design, graphic design, or related work.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise product labeling, packaging artwork, and instruction manuals in accordance with approved specifications.
• Update artwork files to support product maintenance activities, product transitions, supplier changes, and portfolio optimization initiatives.
• Ensure all artwork revisions are executed accurately and according to approved requirements.
• Execute assigned labeling and packaging projects from an existing backlog of work requests.
• Prioritize and complete labeling projects in accordance with established timelines.

Position Summary

The Temporary Packaging & Labeling Specialist will provide additional execution capacity to support Drive DeVilbiss' labeling and packaging operations. This role will focus primarily on working through a backlog of product labeling, packaging artwork, instruction manual, and supplier transition projects while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with established company standards. This assignment is intended to support ongoing business priorities while accelerating completion of existing labeling requests.

This is a temporary 2-month assignment, with the possibility of extension based on business needs.

Primary Responsibilities

Artwork Development & Execution

• Create and revise product labeling, packaging artwork, and instruction manuals in accordance with approved specifications
• Update artwork files to support product maintenance activities, product transitions, supplier changes, and portfolio optimization initiatives
• Ensure all artwork revisions are executed accurately and according to approved requirements
• Execute assigned labeling and packaging projects from an existing backlog of work requests
• Prioritize and complete labeling projects in accordance with established timelines
• Support updates related to product labels, product packaging, instruction manuals, and work instructions

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Collaborate with Product Management, Regulatory, Quality, Engineering, Marketing, and Sourcing teams to obtain required information and approvals
• Incorporate stakeholder feedback and revision requests into artwork files
• Track assigned projects and communicate status updates as needed
• Escalate issues or delays that may impact project timelines

Labeling Compliance & Quality Support

• Follow established labeling procedures, templates, and quality standards
• Support review and approval activities to ensure required documentation is complete
• Partner with Regulatory and Quality teams to ensure compliance with applicable labeling requirements
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail throughout the labeling process

Qualifications Preferred

• Experience within medical device, healthcare, pharmaceutical, consumer products, or other regulated industries
• Familiarity with FDA, ISO, or similar labeling requirements
• Experience supporting packaging artwork revisions and product change projects
• Understanding of printing processes, packaging materials, and supplier artwork requirements
