Labeling Associate - A-Shift

Base pay range: $22.99/hr - $34.49/hr.
Duties
- Create labels from data collection to kitting for all units, specific Intel BMC jobs, and requests from individuals and departments.
- Adhere to regulations and specifications outlined in the UL508A book, company standards, submittals, and electrical drawings.
- Track and understand schedule/kitting email notifications to start the labeling process; prioritize jobs and complete duties independently.
- Understand and interpret submittals, data sheets, P&ID’s, electrical drawings, and occasionally piping drawings related to tagging.
- Collect and document pertinent labeling information in an Excel template and complete a label checklist for each unit, including required UL508a caution and warning labels.
- Design labels in CorelDRAW and Microsoft Word for vinyl printing; create standardized and unit‑specific labels, such as manufacturer or equipment labels.
- Operate the Trotec 360 Laser Engraver and the Vision Rotary Engraver, perform maintenance and cleaning, and ensure residue is removed from each label.
- Kit unit labels according to the checklist and production schedule.
- Maintain label stock, clean and renew vinyl labels, and manage materials inventory (plastics, acrylic, vinyl, ink, etc.) with vendor information.
- Communicate efficiently with Electrical Engineering, SAE’s, Assembly, Service, and QC teams; assist with label placement and clarification.
- Develop and update labeling standards, document files for standard and job‑related labels, and adapt labels as units change post‑labeling.
- Maintain label placement standards in collaboration with Electrical Assembly and QC.
- Identify and adhere to customer‑specific label requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience with UL508A regulations and industrial labeling practices.
- Proficient in CorelDRAW and Microsoft Word; ability to learn new software and design software quickly.
- Knowledge of laser engraving equipment and maintenance procedures.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks independently.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork across multiple departments.
- Basic Excel skills for data collection and checklist completion.
- Adherence to safety and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.
