Job summary

Avery Dennison Vestcom is seeking a Machine Operator to join our production team in Lewis Center, OH. You will be the pilot of your equipment, setting up and operating label machines to meet daily deadlines with a zero-defect mindset.

You will troubleshoot malfunctions, identify root causes, monitor tight tolerances, log materials and time in the ERP system, and maintain a clean, safe work environment in line with Vestcom's standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years related experience and/or training.
• Strong mechanical skills to analyze and operate label machine equipment.
• Ability to embody and reflect Vestcom’s core values.

Vestcom, a standalone business unit of Avery Dennison, is looking for a Machine Operator to join our production team. In this role, you aren’t just pushing buttons—you are the "pilot" of your equipment. You will be responsible for operating label machines efficiently, troubleshooting technical issues on the fly, and ensuring every product meets our high-quality standards.

Potential Shifts

• Day Shift: Sunday - Tuesday 5am - 5pm, Wednesday 5am - 11am
• Day Shift: Wednesday 11am - 5pm, Thursday - Saturday 5am - 5pm
• Night Shift: Sunday - Tuesday 5pm - 5am, Wednesday 5pm - 11pm
• Night Shift: Wednesday 11pm - 5am, Thursday - Saturday 5pm - 5am
