Job summary

Online Labels Group is hiring an entry level Label Inspector to learn the print industry in a warehouse setting. You will inspect, cut, and quality check labels according to work orders, with training provided for those new to inspection or machinery.

The Friday–Sunday shift runs 6:00am–6:00pm, and a training shift is TBD. Pay is $15.00 per hour, with benefits that include medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401(k) with company match, holiday pay, and more.

Qualifications

• Detailed-oriented and able to follow standard work instructions.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to communicate and work with co-workers effectively.

Responsibilities

• Operate rewind machinery to convert post-press product into finished labels per job jacket instructions.
• Ensure rewind machine runs efficiently and produces quality output.
• Set up rewind machine to cut and rewind specific counts per customer order.
• Perform changeovers on time.
• Inspect and clean equipment; report needed repairs/maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Follow quality management procedures and complete quality documentation.
• Safely perform all essential job functions per company policies.

Overview: The Label Inspector is a great entry level position to learn about the print industry in a warehouse setting! You will be working on a Inspection machine inspect, cut, and quality check printed labels based on work order specifications. No experience with Inspection or machinery? No problem! We are willing to train the right candidates!

Shift Available: Friday-Sunday 6:00am-6:00pm.

Training Shift: TBD.

What you'll do:

• Effectively perform rewinder operations - converting post-press product into finished product by following job jacket instructions.
• Responsible for ensuring the rewind machine is operating efficiently and producing product that conforms to our high-quality standards.
• Accurately setup rewind machine to cut and rewind specific counts per customer order.
• Performance of changeover on time.
• Inspect and clean equipment regularly and report a need for repairs/maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Follow established quality management system procedures.
• Complete quality documents to ensure adherence to procedures.
• Safely and efficiently perform all essential job functions in accordance with company policies and operating procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
