The Label Factory is seeking a Rewind Operator to inspect finished label rolls, perform splices, and configure rolls per customer orders. This role blends machine operation with strict quality checks to protect overall job integrity.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading rolls, maintaining tension, and documenting defects and waste. Requires reading tickets, basic math, and adherence to safety standards; overtime is mandatory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret job tickets, work instructions, and specifications.
• Basic math for counts, footage, and roll calculations.
• Color vision and close visual acuity to detect defects.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work mandatory overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operate rewind table and inspect labels inline for defects.
• Splice out defects and document waste per procedure.
• Verify copy, part numbers, and quantities against ticket and sample.
• Ensure core tag matches design on each roll and maintain proper wind direction.
