Job summary

MCC is seeking an attentive rewind/inspection operator to oversee the slitting and re-winding of labels per customer specifications. You will visually inspect quality, verify accuracy, and follow all SOPs while maintaining clean, organized work areas.

Responsibilities include operating the rewind machine, recording job data, and communicating issues to the press team. This is a full-time on-site role requiring flexibility with shifts and physical endurance.

Qualifications

• Must pay close attention to detail in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 lbs, and meet production deadlines.
• Must be able to operate with minimal supervision and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate inspection/rewind machine to slit down and remove defective labels.
• Rewind labels into rolls according to specifications and procedures.
• Visually inspect labels for defects and verify accuracy.
• Fill out job paperwork and collect label samples per SOP.
• Communicate quality concerns to operators and supervisor.
• Maintain 5S standards and clean work area daily.
