Job description

LabDev Product Architect SE3

Candidate must have an active TS/SCI w/Poly. TS/SCI with poly required.

Our focus: Government program delivering technical solutions using emerging technologies for processing large amounts of data—commercial cloud, HPC, enterprise architecture. Program is tactically important to national security.

Position Requirements
  • A High School Diploma or GED plus twelve (12) years of general system engineering experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a qualified engineering field or related discipline from an accredited college or university plus seven (7) years of systems engineering experience.
  • A Master's degree in a qualified engineering field or related discipline from an accredited college or university plus five (5) years of systems engineering experience.
  • A PhD in a qualified engineering field or related discipline from an accredited college or university plus three (3) years of systems engineering experience.
Position Details

Position requires a recent CI polygraph within the last 5 years. Responsibilities include analyzing user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high‑level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications. Leads design and development activities; guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, conducts feasibility studies. Provides technical leadership for integration of requirements, design, and technology. Incorporates new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations. Develops technical documentation, system architecture, and system design documentation. Guides system development and implementation planning through preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans. Interacts with the government on engineering technical considerations, and associated problems, issues or conflicts. Ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of deliverables and communication with program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.

Proposed salary range for this position in Maryland: $150,000. Final salary will be determined based on factors. Comprehensive benefits include healthcare, retirement plan, paid disability and life insurance, employee assistance program, leave programs, education assistance, wellness initiatives.
