Job summary

Dell Inc. is seeking a Test & Validation Integration Engineer for on-site work in Maryland. The role bridges staging and field deployment, racking and configuring multi-vendor infrastructure, and ensuring pre-production readiness in a lab environment.

You will validate interoperability across network, container stacks, and deployment workflows, producing clear SOPs and runbooks for rapid field activation. Active TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience racking, stacking, cabling, and configuring enterprise infrastructure—Cisco/Arista/Palo Alto and Dell platforms.
• Experience provisioning Dell PowerEdge compute and Dell storage fabrics (SAN/NAS, iSCSI, NVMe-oF, or NFS).
• Kubernetes environments: install, configure, and verify container runtimes and storage/network plug-ins.
• Ability to diagnose physical and logical faults from Layer 1 to Layer 4 using CLI diagnostics and captures.
• Strong documentation skills to write SOPs, runbooks, and site activation procedures.
• Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to maintain access as required.
• Must lift up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Rack, Stack & Physical Integration: assemble and cabling high-density Dell servers and storage in standard racks.
• Multi-Vendor Device Provisioning: apply baseline firmware and initial configurations across Cisco, Arista, Palo Alto and Dell storage.
• End-to-End Functionality Testing: validate network throughput, VLANs, routing, firewall policies, and storage availability pre-shipment.
• Container & Platform Validation: deploy and validate Kubernetes clusters on bare-metal and virtual nodes.
• Build & Optimize Deployment Runbooks: create and refine staging and commissioning procedures for field activations.
