Dell Technologies is seeking a Test Engineer to join the Manufacturing Engineering team in Franklin, MA. You will develop test plans for hardware products, work with a test team during execution, and coordinate with external validation partners to ensure comprehensive coverage across organizations.

You will provide test engineering support for manufacturing processes, including weekends as needed, and create test plans and cases while following risk management and automation practices.

Formación

• Associate degree required in electronics, CS, or related field.
• Strong understanding of server hardware/software interactions.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs and networking basics.
• Ability to read and understand technical documents.
• Linux familiarity is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and document test plans for new or existing hardware and solutions.
• Collaborate with test team during execution and report results to engineers and leadership.
• Coordinate with external validation partners to create comprehensive test plans across multiple groups.
• Provide test engineering support for manufacturing tests, including weekends as needed.
• Collect test requirements and create basic test plans and test cases.
• Follow risk management plans and execute test automation scripts.
• Document test execution progress and issues; mentor test technicians.
