Job summary

Sapsf is seeking a Component & Subsystem Lab Test Technician to support engineering development, validation, and characterization for hardware. You will prepare samples, assemble and troubleshoot test setups, perform DC/RF/optical tests, and help manage calibration, data collection, and documentation in a hands-on lab environment.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of lab experience, soldering skills, and the ability to work independently across multiple priorities while ensuring safety and quality

Qualifications

• Associate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent experience in a technical field.
• 2+ years of hands-on laboratory, engineering technician, or test technician experience.
• Experience using electrical test equipment (DMMs, power supplies, signal generators, spectrum analyzers).
• Basic soldering and electronic assembly skills.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Experience with data collection, reporting, and spreadsheets.
• Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform sample preparation including EVB assembly and preparation.
• Assemble, modify, and troubleshoot laboratory hardware and test setups.
• Conduct soldering, rework, and debugging of wiring assemblies and prototypes.
• Support hardware station builds, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Execute DC, RF, and optical testing; support failure analysis and subsystem characterization.
• Develop and maintain test documentation and procedures.
• Coordinate calibration activities for laboratory equipment.
• Generate EVT data rollups and summary reports and share findings with engineering teams.
