Job summary

Würth Elektronik Group seeks a Lab Test Engineer to run, document, and compare test sequences on evaluation boards across line and load conditions. You will modify boards, verify test programs, and document results for component comparisons.

The role requires hands-on testing skills, PCB solder rework, and proficiency with Python, LabVIEW, and SCPI protocols. Plano, TX location with a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum second year of a BSEE or BSET program.
• Experience with component testing and documentation is preferred.
• Proficient in basic electrical test methods and data recording.

Responsibilities

• Run and document test sequences on eval boards for line and load conditions.
• Compare efficiency, ripple, and temperature rise between components.
• Prepare and rework test boards by substituting components as needed.
• Set up and verify test programs, and load test data.
• Perform electrical tests per documented procedures.
• Document test procedures, conditions, and results for comparisons.
• Provide feedback to improve test documentation and programs.
