We are looking to support senior chemists and scientists in a field office located in Questa, New Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Conduct simple wet chemistry tests on environmental samples.
• Perform organic solvent extractions on groundwater and soil.
• Assist in the setup of treatability studies.
• Assist office staff in related work tasks and local field sampling programs as needed (training provided).
• Assist in general maintenance of the laboratory.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science or related field.
• Experience and aptitude for working in a lab environment through employment or school.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Good written English skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
• Good problem‑solving, analytical, and arithmetic skills.
