Job summary

Radiant Systems Inc is seeking a Laboratory Technician to prepare samples and conduct analyses following official methods and SOPs. You will support testing protocols on disposable paper and hygiene consumer products, under supervision.

Responsibilities include routine testing, data logging, QA/QC checks, inventory support, and collaboration with local labs and global affiliates. Attention to safety, accuracy, and timely reporting will be essential in this hands-on role.

Qualifications

• Experience in a laboratory environment with safety adherence.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data-entry platforms.
• Ability to work independently under supervision.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions accurately.
• Ability to read and comprehend safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Problem-solving skills with a focus on detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine laboratory testing following SOPs and validate method performance as required.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable local and federal safety regulations and maintain safe work habits.
• Prepare, receive, sort, and log client samples into the database; generate sample labels accordingly.
• Archive, return, or dispose of client samples following established procedures.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly QA/QC checks on laboratory equipment.
• Assist with inventory management of laboratory chemicals and equipment; compile supply orders as needed.
• Coordinate testing and services with local laboratories and global affiliates, including sample processing.
• Review job tickets and monitor job folder closing and invoicing processes.
• Maintain tracking spreadsheets and manage email correspondence related to laboratory activities.
• Coordinate projects and perform data collection as required.
• Provide support and training department staff when appropriate.
• Communicate with clients regarding analysis timelines or any issues encountered during testing.
