Job summary

The Science Team at Pride Health is hiring a Laboratory Technician III – Surface Treatment for a top materials science company in Maplewood, MN. The role focuses on operating aluminum etch and anodize lines, handling chemical solutions, and ensuring process quality.

We seek candidates with a High School Diploma or GED, 1 year Word/Excel experience, and ability to pass respirator fit testing. 12-month assignment with pay range $25–$28/hr on W2.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Microsoft Word and Excel experience.
• Ability to pass a half-face or PAPR respirator fit test.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and monitor aluminum etch and anodize process lines.

• Inspect treated and primed surfaces for quality, adhesion, coating thickness, and specification compliance.

• Accurately document process parameters, observations, and test results.

• Knowledge of chemical handling, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Familiarity with surface preparation, adhesion, corrosion resistance, and coating standards.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation, and communication skills.
