Job summary

Pride Health is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) for a 26-week contract in Farmington Hills, MI 48336. The role involves clinical testing, specimen analysis, result review, and timely reporting in a high-complexity lab.

The MLT will perform QC, calibrations, troubleshooting, and maintain documentation while complying with CLIA, HIPAA and OSHA. Evening shifts: 10:30 PM–7:00 AM, 40 hours/week.

Qualifications

• ASCP or AMT certification is required.
• Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory experience in high-complexity testing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory QA/QC procedures.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and handle a fast-paced laboratory environment.
• Strong computer skills and ability to work with multiple laboratory systems.

Responsibilities

• Process and analyze patient specimens using approved laboratory procedures.
• Review, verify, and release accurate test results.
• Perform and document QC, calibrations, maintenance, and corrective actions.
• Identify testing issues and troubleshoot or escalate.
• Report STAT and critical results according to department procedures.
• Maintain accurate testing records, reagent logs, and documentation.
• Follow CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and laboratory safety requirements.
• Participate in proficiency testing, training, and continuing education.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, reagents, and department readiness.
• Assist with regulatory inspections and other laboratory projects.
• Protect patient confidentiality and communicate effectively with laboratory staff and other departments.

Job Summary

Additional Information:

• Location: Farmington Hills, MI 48336
• Shift: Evening shift: 10:30 PM -7:00 AM | Monday - Friday
• Schedule: 40 hours per week (5x8 shifts)

Travel Gross Pay: $2200 - $2320/Week

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
